The Sex Trafficking Institute provides educational courses taught by Detective Christi Decouflé and Survivor Leah Rogers. The courses were created to prevent Domestic Sex Trafficking, educate community partners and assist victims through customized, interactive presentations and workshops. This partnership ironically started in 2011 when Detective Decouflé arrested Leah Rogers as part of a sex trafficking investigation involving her pimp. Towards the end of the investigation, Detective Decouflé began to suspect that Leah was actually a victim, changing the direction of the case. What transpired after makes this duo an unusual combination with an unique perspective.
